Our trading team constantly strive to source amazing value for money branded and non-branded products from reliable sources - imports and from the UK - core range as well as clearance/job lines.
We have a strong team of buyers each of whom is an expert in their field
Prasheel Kunwardia joined Poundland in 2005 and heads up the Food and Drink buying team. Prasheel has vast knowledge of the retail marketplace, previously working for Somerfield for 8 years and Tesco for 4 years.
Ian Davies is the Senior Buyer for Beauty, Baby and Household buying teams at Poundland. With vast experience of the discount marketplace, Ian has been at Poundland since 2004 and previously at Goldsmiths and Betterware for 4 and 10 years respectively.
Simon Lee is the Senior Buyer for DIY, Beauty, Health, Household and Baby. Simon joined Poundland in 2006, was Senior Buyer at 99p stores and prior to that, buyer for Superpound/Woolbro distributors.
Barry Foster is the Senior Buyer for Entertainment, DIY, Homewares, Toys and Batteries and has worked at Poundland for over 10 years.
Leanne Davies buyer for Clothing & Accessories, Homewares and Entertainment categories, has been with Poundland since 2000 and previously worked for Vendepac for 4 years.
Seasonal Ranges - Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Fathers Day, Easter, Back to School, Gardening, January Sale and Halloween. Ranges for these events are managed across the Buying Teams.
