Job Purpose
To support the National Facilities Manager in providing a nationwide facilities management service to Retail Operations, Distribution and Retail Support Centre
Accountable to the National Facilities Manager you will;
- Support the Facilities team in developing and improving the Property service through continuous review of policies and procedures, ensuring best practice, providing sound facilities management advice and regular communication to the Business
Functional Role:
- Manage contractors and suppliers on a daily basis, liaising with Facilities Help Desk, Retail Operations, Distribution and Retail Support Centre
- Resolve Store/Distribution/Retail Support Centre specific issues in agreed time frames ensuring value for money solutions
- Assist in forward planning and budget management
- Support the development of planned preventative maintenance plans
- Assist in the development of an asset renewal plan
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong building knowledge experience
- Good knowledge of H&S/CDC/Asbestos
- Understanding of Electrical/HAVC desirable
- Understanding and ability to manage budgets
- Retail background preferred
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of planning and Building Regulations
- Sound analytical, planning and organising skills
- Good communicator and problem solver
